He acceded to power on December 31, 1977. He led the country wisely, taking advantage of his experience in financial affairs, the organization of Kuwaiti investments internally and externally. His effective foreign relations made him able to serve the best interests of Arab and Islamic nations.


Sheikh Jabir Al Ahmad Al Sabah
The shining history of leaders, particularly those who had a great impact on the destiny of their peoples and whose achievements stand as objects of praise for successive generations, is very difficult to be summarized in a few pages. History cannot but proudly record their leadership in achieving the development, welfare and prosperity of their nations.
His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Ruler of Kuwait, is one of those leaders who did their best to serve both their people and nation.
Hence, he is beloved and greatly appreciated by everyone as the leader of the state and the shepherd of the community at critical times in the modern history of Kuwait.

Ahmadi :Kuwaitâ‚„s oil town lies about 40 kilometers south of the City, and is attractively laid out in tree-lined avenues fringed by small houses with well-tended gardens giving it a park like appearance.

Kuwait Water Towers
One of Kuwaitâ‚„s most famous landmarks, Kuwait Towers are situated on Arabian Gulf Street on a promontory to the east of the City center in Dasman. The uppermost sphere of the largest tower (187 meters high ) has a revolving observation area and a restaurant, with access by high speed lift.



Jahra :Set at the intersection of three major caravan, and invasion, routes Jahra was once a small flourishing garden settlement of strategic importance. The ancient Red Fort ( Qasr Al-Ahmar), famous for several historic battles, is open during the morning. Driving in Jahra is a unique experience.

After breakfast depart hotel around 0900 hours for a full day €œTreasure of a Heritage Tour€ highlights include the old city gate, the burn ship hotel Wrek, Sadu house for Bedouin wool weaving, Bayt al Badyr an old Kuwait house of a rich merchant, the unique architecture of the Fatima and Pyramid mosques and the Grand mosque. Return to hotel around 1300 hours. Evening visit Al Qurain Martyrs house, the replica old Kuwait town by the sea and €œDiwaniyah€. This is followed by the visit to a typical local Arabic restaurant
